People who quit on the spot, what was it that made you quit?

I was late for two morning meetings at a Big Blue electronics retailer. I was working two jobs, BB from 7am-330pm and another from 530pm-2am so I would work sat night, get off at 2am on Sunday and have to be at the meeting at 7am Sunday morning.

The first time I got there before the meeting actually started but was still technically late. The second time I missed half of a donut eating competition. Woo hoo retailer meeting icebreakers!

A manager brought me into the conference room after the second one and said, "Look, you know where you're at and ..." and I cut him off and said "Fuck it, I quit." Better to quit than be fired right? He looked at me and said, "Are you sure you don't want to put in your 2 weeks?" So I hit him with that, "Fuck it, I'm putting in my 2 weeks." The second job paid better and was full time anyway.

They took me off the schedule immediately, but I still had 2 weeks with my employee discount so a couple friends got appliances and TVs.
