People who received no or terrible sex education: what was the most wildly inaccurate thing you were taught or told about sex and sexual health?

Late, so this will probably get buried.

My first primary (elementary) school was pretty messed up. For some reason, we started going through sex education in Year 2. Now, I don’t know about you, but I feel like age 7 is a little early to be watching birthing videos and learning about which sex positions are approved by God. Anyway, I digress.

I can’t remember exactly what prompted us to think this, but one day my mother picked my friend and I up from school and we were both pale as a sheet. She asked us why, and after some time my friend yelled out “WHY do BABIES come out of the BUTT?!”. My mother found this hilarious and had to explain the truth, but I don’t think 7 year old Bambi and friend were any happier with this information.
