People who have unsubbed or don't play as often as they used to: what would reinvigorate your passion for WoW?

I'm a 11 year player with a single character (mage), with about every cuting Edge (even before Cuting edge was available), not top 100 or anything, just pretty decent on my realm. For the first time since I was 14, I cancelled mid November and haven't looked back. I wasn't super happy with Legion, but between my artifact, legendarys and world quest pvp I was having a decent fun time.

But now my class has lost abilities with nothing in exchange, nothing changes my playstyle, and everything is so boring I just can't justify spending time in wow

Just getting back to Legion standard would be enough to make me come back, that's basically all I ask
