I took an online school because I had truancy issues in traditional school for the past 4+ years due to severe anxiety. For the first month or so everything went smoothly. There was supposed to be 25 hours of school work every week, but I was able to get everything done in one night. Then the work very suddenly got extremely difficult. The information the teachers were giving me for the assignments were incredibly vague and had tons of spelling errors. I had to teach myself everything only to get a C+ on a 3 page essay. A C+ wouldn’t even be bad if they accepted anything lower than a B. If you “failed” the assignment it as marked as incomplete and you would have to redo the entire thing. This would increase my 25 hours of work per week to about 50, which got worse as more incomplete assignments started to pile up. I couldn’t take it anymore, I was skipping meals and pulling all nighters on a regular basis which ended up giving me just as much, if not even more anxiety than traditional school did.

tldr//it was fucking awful, would not recommend to anyone with an anxiety disorder
