People who's work involves death (e.g Paramedics, Hospice Carers, Morgue Attendants, etc.) - what is the weirdest thing you've ever seen? [Serious]

Lol talk about priorities. Had something similar happen to me. I was post night shift (worked in a hospital) and coming in again that night for another but couldn't sleep off a mild discomfort in my stomach. Came in a couple hours early for my shift to get checked out in the ED as I knew the residents and nurses there and wanted a quick fix.

Not five minutes since I got there, the resident said I most likely had appendicitis and they needed to operate. So there I was in complete uniform expecting an analgesic and instead getting admitted for an operation early the next day. I call my head nurse and he asks if I can still do the night shift though. I couldn't believe it.

Fun part - I got admitted on the same floor that i worked at so friends were taking care of me. Not fun part - some of OR staff and doctors now have seen me completely naked and I don't know who.
