Why do people say that windows 10/11 have ads?

Obviously you are about the same distance from the Moon as you are from Microsoft's financial statements, so if you never seen anything, the logical assumption is "they are paid for spots", not the other way around.

Again, why is Netflix not there? Hint: they don't need to advertise as much since they are #1, while disney and amazon prime have all the interest in "stealing" Netflix users, for example by aggressively plating their ugly icons in your fancy new windows 11 device..
Don't even get me started on 10 and Candy Crush King & co on Enterprise editions..

Why pick on Alarms & Clock? How often do you ClipChamp vs. Notepad then? or Paint? or Movies & TV? Those are also on the second page..
