People with 9-5 jobs where you don’t do anything- do you want to get out? If so, to do what instead?

I work 8am - 4pm as an HR Generalist at the office of a manufacturing company. My day is mostly just being available in case issues arise. Some days I have very little to do, and then some days I'm super super busy. It all depends on the day. I'd say its about a 60/40 split busy and nothing to do. I never know walking in to work which kind of day it will be (except near payday... since I do the payroll, the couple days around payday are always a stupid busy days for me)

I love it, its a great mix of wasting time online and being productive when there is something that needs to be done. Plus the scheduling gives me freedom in the evenings and weekends to relax, spend time on hobbies, socialize, etc.
