People with hidden disabilities, what’s yours and what trouble has the “invisibility” cause you? How do you wish other people would react to it?

Worst of all, they suddenly act like you're delicate and retarded.

Fuck off, I'm just as functional as you, I just am more socially awkward! I'm every bit as smart, human, emotional, and all that! I have a job, pay taxes, make love, pay games, work out, make rent, read books, talk shit, eat food, make coffee, compare deals, snap pictures, go places, celebrate holidays, have friends, watch movies, cast ballots, shoot guns, get sick, get drunk, take vacations, and so on. Anything you do, I do it, too! I'm not retarded, I'm different!

I keep it very quiet. This is my first time ever confessing to this on reddit. I'll delete this come morning when I'm sober. I post a lot about shit people swear autists just can't/shouldn't do. I've spent 4 years building my reputation here in some circles.

And I'm raging that I have to even think about that.
