People with tattoos: Do you regret any of your tattoos? Why?

No chill. Dont have one but for me its like seeing a dog with stitches - It gives me all the emotions. With tats its not pain, its regret. Regret by proxy. Sympathetic regret. I even create a crazy narrative in my head about what the story was behind the ink - abusive parents, absent parents, violent environment, drunken party, low IQ, no self-esteem, neurological kink, artistic compulsion, self-harming....etc etc. but then I say 'come on' its hardly all of them and I go back to creating more - gang member, ex-con, stripper, trampstamponista,. And then I say maybe they just were born with the compulsion to draw under their skin with needles. Maybe its like circumcision or female genital mutilation you know.. you have to be there. Either way Im sure like a few percent dont regret them. And when the grandkid is asking gramma what 'BBC ONLY' means and why its right above her bumhole - they can always say 'well dear times were different back then, now quiet and pass the french fancies'. Who knows, who knows..
