And people wonder why I hate EA...

Someone compared it to World of Warcr, aft, and it really put things into perspective because Sims itself is cheaper month-to-month than World of Warcraft if you were to buy all the content, it'd still come out to about 12$ a month compared to WoWs 15$.

So especially if you enjoy The Sims, how is it any different than paying for World of Warcraft monthly? At least you can still play the game after you stop spending money where WoW forces you to keep paying.

I know it's easy to pick out a yay and make fun of the Sims but these kind of models exist in video games and they have for a long time. If you don't like it don't buy it, but there's clearly people that like it. The fans didn't want a subscription model so they went with this model.
