People wont like your game if it's ugly

Isn't the idea of participating in a game jam that 1) you get *anything* out of the door in a limited time (which is a huge achievement by itself) and 2) it's an opportunity to practice your craft, just like say an open podium would be for an artist with all the pressure and motivation etc that comes with it?

Anyway, I'm a non-artist programmer myself, and I would use free resources (3d models etc) for this, and/ or learn some of the art basics and/ or find people to cooperate with.

FWIW, the first thing I stumbled on watching your videos was the sound. The music and mix was 100% loud and distorted. Learning a few basics or teaming up with someone who has a bit more of sound sense could do a lot there.
