Pepperstone as a broker, especially for Canadians

Sorry to bother you with this but... I'm trying to choose a new broker, I was seriously considering Pepperstone or IC Markets.

I dropped IC Markets because there was an FPA case which IC Markets was guilty. And FPA said there was a suspicious amount of fake reviews attempts on their FPA page last year.

Now, that doesn't really mean they're evil but I rather stay on the safe side of the road.

As for Pepperstone, I don't trust all of the other "review" sites, they are either have fake reviews, "real" reviews by losing customers or paid reviews.

Pepperstone seemed fine on FPA.

And after some research there was nothing too serious about them for me to give up on them too, so I'm this close to actually moving to them.

But I could really use the input of a fellow trader who trades with them.

  • Are you/have you ever been profitable on Pepperstone?

  • How are your withdrawals in terms of timeframes and/or hassle?

  • In case you had ups and downs in profit/loss: has your withdrawal experience been different when you were in profit/loss?

  • In case you ever withdrew drastically different sums of money (really high, really low): did the size of a withdrawal ever change the withdrawal experience?

  • How consistent is the connection to their servers? I don't really mind the ping in general, but I do mind lagspikes, did you ever experience sudden lagspikesm, even if extremely short?

  • How fast would you say orders are being executed if you compare them to other brokers you've traded with? Below average? Average? Above average?

Would really appreciate if you could answer these question!

And if you have anything you think is worth mentioning please do mention it.

Again, sorry to bother you like that in a reply and thanks in advance! :)

Oriya.
