Permenantly worried about my teeth

I've been going through this for two years now. I'm 35.

It helps greatly if you just keep your appointments and also go to your general dentist regularly (I go for my six month exam every time.) If anything *is* wrong, both your ortho and dentist together will notice.

I've had to get six, count 'em, six crowns in the last year. I was told by the ortho that I'm a disciplined case, meaning I have to be watched very carefully and my adjustments have to be very small. This is not due to poor hygiene. I feel like I am being daft, too, worrying so much. I'm a totally rational, logically minded person, but you know how everybody has their crazy? My teeth are my crazy. I don't obsessively call my doctors, though. I just calm myself by telling myself that they will notice if something is wrong.
