‘Person of Interest’ Star Jim Caviezel Joins CBS’ Navy SEAL Pilot

I don't think the OP has a problem with the Christianity/Catholicism. Caviezel's brand of 'devoutness' does go hand in hand with conservative agendas. He's similar to Patricia Heaton or Candace Cameron Bure. They all think that their personal religious view should play a hand in affecting public policy.

Caviezel has been very public about his stance on embryonic stem cell research and abortion, which he refers to as "this great sin in this country".

Maybe 'conservative nut' is divisive, but I don't think the OP would label, say, Weird Al Yankovic, Tony Hale, Tyler Perry or Carrie Underwood as 'conservative nuts', and yet they all are also devout Christians.

I don't agree with a lot of Caviezel's views, but I can separate them from his acting body of work. Still a fan. I watched the fuck out of POI. Also, CBS military/action procedurals are a guilty pleasure of mine (2nd only to NBC cop procedurals), so I'm sure I'll be watching this too.
