Person on Tumblr brags about how "fun" they're making D&D for the "lame white cis men," oblivious to the fact that they themselves are likely the horror story.

Did you just make a whole theoretical scenario about what “actually happened” in a total stranger’s dnd experience? Sorry, I know I’m looking kinda antagonistic in this thread but I’m pretty sure that’s not what happened?

And even if it did happen like that what would you really lose by introducing your child to dnd and seeing their funky looking firbolg necromancer revive all the Orcs to make friends with them? You’re being receptive to your kid’s interests, like a parent should. And maybe next time you can find some younger dnd players who have similar wacky sensibilities and your kid won’t feel like they’re out of place at the table.
