It will, but with you taking 5 and a half step forwards and 4 and half steps back every time, it will take a very long time. That's also assuming that they are each worth the same, which they are not. We have no way of knowing if you're winning against weaker teams mostly or if you're beating stronger teams mostly, there are plenty of little variables changing the size of each step you take in either direction.

But no matter how much we change the size due to those rules, the point stays the same, your win rate is too close to 50% with a large number of games played to really drag you in either direction.

It only be different if you had significantly less games played, as then the size of your steps would be gigantic, due to huge uncertainty in your mmr.
