I have a Personal Resources (AEI) for $12k ($0 per quarter). My FAFSA was a month late, so I guess that means $12k that I'm personally responsible for. My expected contribution - including family contribution - for the year is $0 in their calculations, and loans don't even cover the remaining need. Not sure how they expect me to pay anything.

To make it worse, I didn't even receive an email saying my award status was updated and it says that I was supposed to confirm by yesterday; I checked 2 days ago, and there was no award lmao. When I accept the loans, I just get "An error has occurred, call the office." Yet, it's impossible to get in touch with anyone via phone/email, and I'm out of town. All this because I forgot to click a button on the FAFSA site confirming I'm broke (I had the federal deadline in my calendar).
