I personally would have stopped flying in that area out of respect to the animal - thoughts?

Your stupidity is off the charts. Lets start from the top.

ZMR250? No wonder we don't get along.

You and another animal are not equals. It does not understand what a quad with spinning blades presents.

Over 100,000 commercial airliner flights fly through the air every single day. I hear your bickering already- Planes fly higher than birds. Do you know what Takeoff and Landing is? A Quadcopter is no different than a scaled-down version of the real thing. It CAN hurt an animal, and in this case, as taken back as you might be- I hope it does. If I'm minding my own business and some drunk guy tells me that I'm "spying on him with my drone" and tries to knock it out of the air- of course I'm going to go try flying somewhere else! That's COMMON SENSE! I'm not going to hover it over him or his house or try and hit him or his belongings with it. In the same way, I'm not going to try and fly at the bird and try to hurt it or its nest. I'll keep my space, but if I switch flying location and it still wants a fight, I'm not taking my quad out of the air without a fight. The only time I ever would is if it was an endangered species or a national or state bird. That bird is going to learn that it is going out of its way to annoy me when I've gone out of my way to make sure I'm not annoying that bird. If that bird hits one of my propellers and gets hurt from it- GOOD. If it can still fly it'll have enough logic to never go near me ever again. Its not my airspace, but its not the bird's either.

AND GUESS WHAT?! I don't care if you're offended by my comment.

What would you do if there was a human baby wandering around underneath your quad? Are you still going to fly over it or near it?

These readings are off the charts! Are you sure this person even posses logic?

Okay, I want you to imagine how big a quadcopter is. Now I want you to imagine how big a baby's head is. If I move the quad a couple feet in any direction I'm out of the way of that baby. If that bird wants a fight and I know I'm not purposely annoying it- even if I have no intention of doing so- I'm standing my ground.

Humans have a lot of brain in their head. Its time you learned to use some. Have a nice day.
