Perspective of someone close to being homeless

I think in society there is a bell curve

Just like IQ there is a bell curve

We tend to focus a lot on the extremes... Those who have nothing and those who have everything but...

The vast majority of people are doing okay and the trend is that the vast majority of people that graduated highschool and completed some kind of education do okay in society.

So yes it's terrible that people are suffering in society, that we have people like OP that are suffering and about to lose it all.

The minority of people suffer a lot and it's terrible but I just don't get what kind of solutions might exist right now

Increasing funding - I mean is taking away CERB from people really going to help? People lost their jobs and you want that money that went to them?

If we gave you $4000 a month for free would that help you? It probably would but at what cost. That $4000 came from somebody's pocket. That $4000 came from a tax paying citizens pocket. That money funds things that we all enjoy like our parks, community centres, etc etc. I don't want a dime going to anymore of these criminals shitting on the streets.
