PESHAWAR ZALMI WIN PSL 2017!

One day a historian will write a book thirty years from today on Pakistan cricket and hopefully he'd talk about the second PSL final and how it became the reason for a paradigm shift in perception of Pakistan and how slowly and gradually it brought cricket back of all kinds to the country that hosted the best events possible.

He would talk about a street fighting keeper batsman who reached the final twice of this great event and with none of his international players coming for the first final he lead his side well when they bowled. How after this final he captained the national team in at least two formats and was very successful.

He would speak of how West Indies IS Pakistan! Sammy, Sir Vivian Richards and Samuels all these big names showing up, ensuring that the world sees how great we are. Proved that West Indies will always be a special part of Pakistani history.

All in all he'd summarise this chapter mentioning the resilience in the character of Pakistan. How it continues to defy all odds and represent bravery by showing up in large numbers no matter how tough the situation might be.

His last lines I hope would be "Pakistanis... A nation that refuses to give up".
