Petrify explains why the agility change was bad for Gwent.

I don’t get the example with geralt Igbo. How is it supposed to be more interactive if you know where for example your Igni will strike? Let’s say you are playing vs Nekkers and at some point the opponent will have 2 nekkers on melee row and they’re 9-12 points big. That’s almost gnigi range so just on unit more and you’ll have great value. Now, on the other hand the opponent can choose how to outplay igni and place his units however he want and distribute all the points on different rows so you’ll never have a 20 point igni scorch.

On the one hand you literally know where he will play and he can’t really play around anything and you just need to wait until he stacks the row you want to igni. That’s interactive?

On the other hand your opponent dynamically can play around cards like gigni and minimizing dmg by splitting nekkers or other things maybe. I don’t think that is suuuuper interactive but hell, much more than with a row locked board.
