I've heard a few horror stories regarding experiences with Jill, and the way she conducts her business, but I don't want to share them just in case it's gossip. But I'll share what I've experience first-hand.
About 6 years ago, my GF (presently my wife) and I wanted to adopt 2 cats from a petshop in Sudbury that displayed them. They were from petsave. My wife went through a phone interview with Jill, in which Jill did not accept us to adopt these 2 cats. My GF was shocked and crying. We were denied for 2 reasons.
1) Jill felt we did not make enough of an income to support two cats. We told Jill that my GF worked her career, Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week. I worked 2 jobs that had me working Mon-Sun, 56-64 hours/week. Jill felt like that was not good enough. Wild!
2) We were a couple that could potentially break up, thus leaving a chance for the 2 cats to be abandoned or surrendered. Wild!
We eventually did get the cats, but not without my M-I-L calling Jill to give her a good reference for us. In current day, 2022, my wife and I still have both cats living in our home, where they're loved, they're healthy, taken care of, and sometimes spoiled.
