I don't know Pewdiepie but I do know that I am so fucking thoroughly fed up with this knee-jerk outrage culture bullshit.

And it's not one group of people. It's every group on every side of every issue as far as I can tell. All of those groups have a shitload of people who apparently are incapable of applying any kind of critical thinking to anything, instead just taking everything they see online as gospel.

So you end up with situations like:

Two black college students apply to start a black-only club -> Headline "COLLEGE BANS WHITE PEOPLE!"

Pewdiepie shouts out a channel that has sometimes posted things that could be construed as antisemitic -> Headline: "PEWDIEPIE SUPPORTS GASSING THE JEWS"

I just wish those people would maybe follow up on a source, or at least cross reference multiple articles, or at least read the entire article.

In closing, social media was a mistake and I hate it.
