As an American, I empathize far too deeply. I wish I didn't, but I have experienced that feeling way to many times not to feel your pain. I pray for your country and your country's children's sake that your government responds properly, as I know how frustrating it is when they don't. Shit, my high school was locked down for 12 hours due to a shooting in the area. My mother (a teacher)'s school was locked down for three full school days (police screenings upon entry/exit, police/bomb squad on standby the works) because someone on social media threatened to make it "the next Columbine". There were three drive-bys by my house during my childhood and two people have been killed by police just meters from my house in my lifetime.

Point is, I'm sick of this shit and jaded as hell, and I genuinely hope you don't get this way as well. All my love to you and yours.
