PFF Grades for Falcons @ Eagles

I am not the one downvoting you by the way.

I was saying that they might need a DT because they haven't signed Logan and the other two DTs have not proven to be his equal.

You keep mentioning how old this year's starters are going to be next year. And suggesting that this year's draft should answer it. The first two rounds are where you look to get your starters. So you want the Eagles to spend their first two draft picks on Guards and Center? And even then we might not get anyone better than Barbre or Isaac is now.

If you really want to put off replacing a fucking 34 and 32 year old offensive linemen for a couple of years, that is absolutely moronic.

You keep bringing this point up but the team is hoping that they already have replacements. They think that Vaitai (23) and Isaac (23) can be starters and replace Peters (35) and Barbre (32). Wisniewski (27) can replace Kelce (30). Or some combination depending on who works out.

than mine is considering you think we can just pick up our starting lineman in the 4th+ rounds and be fine.

Jason Peters UDFA, Kelce 7th rounder, Todd Herremans 4th round. I am sure there are more but you can find good interior linemen in the later rounds. The Cowboys build their O-line in the 1st two rounds but they are an exception. And their defense has holes all over the place probably because of this tactic.

You draft to improve your team for years, not one year. You don't ignore your most important positional group outside QB when over half of the line won't be here in a few years just because we also need WRs and CBs

Trying to find value in the later rounds is not ignoring a positional group. Your first and second round players need to make an impact their first year in the league.

It is not short sighted to draft other positions in the draft besides O-linemen. A good CB or WR is going to be good for more than one year.

And it makes no sense to cut vets that are playing well for rookies that haven't played a down simply because they are younger.

So what your O-line might look like some point next year. Johnson (27), Brooks (28), Kelce (30), Isaac (24) and Vaitia (24). And a O-lineman they get in the 5th round of the draft.
