PG for next 3 years

Which PG would you rather have for the next 3 years? Do I have to choose? Can I wait until we see how Murray pans out? If Murray can become a ball hawking floor general that Pop loves, I'll take Patty over the next 3 years. But I don't think Murray becomes that without Parker. Is it possible Patty is the best PG on the Spurs now? Best SG? Maybe. Best PG? No. Would Pop even think about benching Tony? He might think about it. Then he'd quickly realize what he values most in a PG; leadership, court vision, defense, distribution, making those around you better. Not saying Patty doesn't have these qualities. Patty just doesn't fit the mold of a typical Popovich starting PG and he struggles with many of these aspects as well as decision making, floor positioning and finishing. As others have noted, he's streaky, not consistent. He's frenzied, not calm. He's a shooter, not a distributor. He's fast, but not a finisher. I think he can improve these things and become our starting PG in the future and that may very well be what he must do if TP goes down. But as of now, it's Tony's job to lose, IMO.
