Pharmacy medication

We go to university for many years and know what all medications and vitamins are used for (at least should) we make evidence based recommendations for patients. With vitamins we often say u need a blood test to check if u need it. Additionally, a lot of complementary medicines really do help with peoples conditions. I think it depends on the person recommending it and their level of expertise. Unfortunately alot of people recommend vitamins that patients really do t need. But as pharmacists (future pharmacists here) we are obligated to give evidence based recommendations. Again if u have a more specific question in this regard either dm me or ask your pharmacist/ doctor.
