I do not recommend this class. I am currently taking it for my R2 requirement and it is very hard in my opinion. The lectures are long and drawn out (8:30 am - 9:45 am), professor Gary Hardegree wrote the textbook used making it difficult to find outside help, and the class overall does not make sense. Maybe I am just not savvy when it comes to logical thought but the translation of sentences to a couple symbols and letters has no purpose to me. An example would be translating the phrase, Jay and Kay are married to each other. to Mjk. The verb Marry is the (M), the lowercase (j) and (k) and for the nouns Jay and Kay. This is just a simple example meaning they get much harder. The class is by far my least favorite class over my last 3 semesters.
