Well there is also the fact that Guy was a multiple convicted felon who spent two thirds of his life in prison... And since he was a felon, it was illegal for him to own the multiple guns he had, one of which he shot the three cops with...

And the reason he thought he was being robbed was because he was dealing fucking drugs out of his residence and car... That no-knock warrant came after they had him under surveillance for a month and watched him make multiple drug deals.

Oh and after he realized it was the police, he threw his gun towards the bedroom his girlfriend was sleeping in (and after the shooting started was hiding in the closet in) and yelled out to the police that he wasn't armed and tried to blame her, telling them that she was the one shooting at them...

And then he burned through several different court appointed lawyers because he told them to make the argument that the police killed their own officer with friendly fire and tried to frame him, despite the fact that the bullet they pulled out of the officer he killed's head was from his fucking gun; the lawyers declined to make that argument because they had the evidence and knew he was full of shit. Then he started going on about how the entire system was involved in a big conspiracy to frame him for everything... That the drugs they found, the scales they found that he used to measures portions for his drug deals, that the guns and all the shell casings, etc., were planted by the police...

The guy is a piece of shit, him being charged has nothing to do with him being black. He was also charged by a grand jury, not a prosecutor... So the charges levied against him are from a jury of his peers, not some overzealous or racist prosecutor.
