Philippine President Duterte tells police officers to ignore Human Rights groups because "...human rights is always the anti-thesis of government."

Cool. Thanks for assuming, now I know what type of person I'm dealing with...

We (right or wrong) said anyone left there was a combatant so no civilians. Bad justification? Sure, but covering legal bases. And yeah, dying one way would be worse than another, but it's war and one side was trying to win wothout massive destruction and the whole world watching and judging. You can't fight a war like that. Either fight and win or pick your battles more appropriately. This is being an armchair general and civilian population sending soldiers to die in a place they care nothing about for an unjustified war then telling them how to fight and die in the most dignified pc manner. Hate to commit crimes in war! Gotta kill each other humanely... which is to be decided by those who aren't in harms way and have never felt the real fear of battle or fighting for their lives... sorry it just sounds so stupid. Go to war to win, or don't go at all. Hold the decision makers responsible for the war they decided to fight, not the poor souls they sent to fight handicapped and if they couldn't win doing so? Die in a politically correct manner.
