I thought this was an interesting photo and eyewitness account recently uploaded to Eyes on Cinema's YouTube channel.
It was taken out of the cockpit of the small airplane while flying over the Mojave desert. Prior to this, both Hastings and his co-pilot had seen something very large and very fast fly over their aircraft from the 12 o'clock position.
They both then were aware of something moving erratically and very quickly in their peripheral vision. It was apparently moving too fast for the eye to focus on. Hastings went an got his camera and took two photos. One captured nothing. One captured the 'craft' or whatever it was. The enconter lasted for about four minutes.
