This photo was taken at the finish of the Brazilian Grand Prix. Pierre Gasly made F1 history by achieving his first podium and beating 6-time champion Lewis Hamilton by just meters to the line.

Gasly's podium follows a difficult and tragic year for him. He started the year at Red Bull, a top team, only to be demoted to Toro Rosso during the summer. Soon after he also lost one of his childhood friends in a horrible accident at the Belgian Grand Prix. This podium is significant, because it is extremely rare for smaller teams like Toro Rosso to achieve a podium.

Last Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix was one of the most exciting ones in recent years. It featured great battles, spectacular crashes and great team strategy, however it climaxed at the end when Pierre Gasly drag-raced Lewis Hamilton to the finish line.
