Physical appearance and being NEET

so many guys have slicked back hair and perfect hairlines these days

I've noticed the complete opposite. You look at photos/home movies of people 20-40 years ago, and compare them today, and it's clear something is amiss. A lot of guys today have big foreheads, and receding hairlines in their early 20s. A lot of them look oily and malnourished. A lot of them have glasses. A lot of them seem more effeminate than ever. Apparently there's some evidence that the standard American diet is actually damaging our genes, so parents who ate poorly will pass on the damage to their offspring. And lots of people in our generation somehow managed to eat poorer than the last during crucial developmental years, resulting in even worse physical appearance and health for themselves and genetic destruction for their children (if they have any). The human race may one day look as disgusting as the people on Invader Zim.

Obviously it's not just the bad food. Apparently estrogens and other pollutants in the water supply, as well as out sedentary lifestyles, have contributed to this as well.
