Picked up WOW again after about 8 years - couldn't believe the changes

ITT: Anti-WoW circlejerk.

I don't like WoW anymore, but it has nothing to do with the difficulty of the game. The game is harder than it has ever been in its lifespan. There is no 5-man content that came before that is hard as mythic+ dungeons. There are no raids that came before that are as hard as mythic raids.

I hate WoW because of the stupid shit they're doing to classes and with artifacts.

The only game that is harder on the market at what it does and has a large following, at the moment, is FFXIV.

You can hate on WoW all you want, at least come up with a reason that doesn't sound like complete bs. WoW was never known for being difficult. It was accessible to casual players since it came out and has never changed that. If it's one thing Blizzard excels at, it's making their games popular by being the most casual-friendly competition on the market.

Also vanilla was a trashy point in time for WoW, the game was insanely imbalanced, you straight up ran out of quests and had to grind at times, there were bugs everywhere, some specs just did not get invited because they were worthless. BC and Wrath fixed vanilla WoW's issues without changing the base game too much.
