It seemed really important to you that the storage capacity of a Honda Fit and a small SUV cannot be compared despite having quantifiable dimensions so readily available, so I had to think about that. I had thought that that was a weird quirk because they can so easily be compared, but I figured out the miscommunication here: When I said "SUV hauling without the cost", I did not mean to imply that the Fit *was" an SUV, only that it can fit almost as much stuff while being significantly cheaper. Which despite your objections, is absolutely true: The Chevvy Equinox has 11L more storage than a Honda Fit, but also has 20% worse fuel economy. That's functionally SUV-level storage without the cost. Glad we got to clear that up.
