Picture of Kwame Ajamu being told he is a free man by a judge, after being falsely imprisoned for 27 years.

I'm not usually this guy but your whole story here is bullshit and obviously written in a way to disguise blame off of yourself.

  1. Not all warrants are the same 1a. You get a bench warrant for failing to appear in court, police cannot issue bench warrants, only a judge can.

There is no, "your side of the story" you either committed a crime or you didn't. When they come to interview you, they want to know if you're dumb enough to talk to them and incriminate yourself.

Cops told me to drop it. I kept insisting they do their job and they threatened to take me to jail

So let me get this straight, they interviewed you about a crime you were accused of committing, and instead of closing the door you tried to use this as an opportunity to retaliate against your accuser and likely harassed the police in the process.

Your "awareness" of a warrant is irrelevant FYI. Whether or not you know it exists the penalty doesn't change, if caught, you will still be arrested for whatever the warrant says.

Calling the prosecutors “brave” for not fighting the exoneration is just more bootlicking

True.
