The picture we've all been waiting for. Hello Games has officially completed No Man's Sky.

Except what you're saying is 100% wrong.

Nothing in the game is actively stopping you from meeting other players. Literally nothing.

The reasons you probably can't is:

  1. Players spawn so far away from each other that the chances of meeting other people is very slim.

  2. No one actually knows what your character even looks like. And no one will know until someone reaches the center. The devs have already repeated this multiple times.

Its very, VERY clear that this is important to the story, so there for, removing it would indeed massively change the game/narrative and it flat out would ruin the game for those of us it was intended for because we WANT that mystery and we WANT that sense of loneliness.

All of which would be ruined if there was a shit ton of 100-500 man groups shitting on players constantly.

"Then make more servers!"

Considering everyone on a system (PC or PS4) shares 1 single server, you're vastly underestimating the cost. Hello games are not a AAA developer and they're not being published by Sony. So this is all out of there pocket.

But sure, just keep crying about childish shit while over simplifying the issue. Because thats real mature...
