Here’s the difference. You like wrestling. I would say greater than 50% of adults think less of you on some level because you watch wrestling. I know I do. Still, it doesn’t tell me anything about you and I would never bully or harass you because of this one publicly available piece of information. I would keep my thoughts to myself until I could reconcile those biased preconceptions with the person you actually are. That’s what having emotionally maturity is like. Yeah, having multicolored hair and a link chain collar is kind of weird, but it doesn’t tell me who he is as a person, and it definitely doesn’t tell me he deserves to be treated poorly.
