A picture is worth a million words

I'll give you this, the men's rights sub does suck. It's full of a bunch of whiners who get offended over every little thing possible and try to make it into a men's issue. They've basically become the equivalent of the type of feminism they hate and rally against without having the self awareness to realize it.

While yeah, the government does screw over everyone, there are obviously policies in place that harm specific groups.

There are also of course societal views and stereotypes that harm specific individuals.

Without a doubt there are legitimate issues that men face in society, and it's important for people to be made aware of them. The high rates of suicide in men, the high rates of homelessness, lack of support for male victims of domestic violence, lack of support for male victims of rape, unfit mothers still being favored for child custody because of their gender, harsher prison sentences for men compared to women who commit the same crimes, the reasons for boys falling behind girls in school, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, the men's rights sub has fallen away from the more important subjects.
