Agree but I think the point of the episode was to show how he would act or change near or at his breaking point ( him still being a genuine good human being) although I don't see many people rewatching this episode a lot besides angst since some scenes were kinda hard to watch and there really isn't any payoffs to the end of the episode (like parents day which has max confess about his parents not caring at the end has the dadvid hug and makes the episode happier) and ( the order of the sparrow which has the campfire scene which makes the episode happier after david says why he'll never stop trying ) but this one doesn't have that and all we get is nobody caring about him leaving and him saying why you should be kind to others even if they are not kind back while tearing up which was kinda bittersweet I still wish they would have had a happier approach to make the episode not feel so sad but the episode The still really Good.
