[pilot watch] why every man need at least one Pilot Watch?

Some excerpts:

Why Every Real Man Should Own At Least One Pilot Watch

The good old wristwatch was and remains a must when it comes to men’s accessories. It not only improves your style and makes you more attractive, it also makes you appear more badass and intelligent.

This is laughable:

  • A pilot watch is a specific design of a watch meant to be used as a tool, a quite essential tool with specific characteristics.
  • It is not an "accessory" by nature. It is a tool by nature. And while people can like the pilot watch designs and wear them as accessories, from low costing models to luxury watches, that is purely a personal choice based on individual tastes.
  • Watches don't make you more attractive.
  • And ironically wearing a watch (any type) to appear more badass and intelligent makes you look like a moron.

You just have to know which one to choose to compliment your style.

How badass! Matching accessories with your fashion. Maybe we can get our hair done later at the salon...after all Spartan warriors took care of their hair!

Plus, the historical connections to fighter planes make them an excellent choice for everyone with an adventurous spirit and daring personality.

You can pay an instructor to go skydiving or something...

Buying a watch isn't adventurous (unless it is one of those shady sellers selling frankenwatches), and it is never daring.

All genuine pilot watches are made from lasting materials. They are made to withstands heavy turbulence and high-altitude falls.

That is false. They were made to be highly legible. That is it. They were not built to be exceptionally shock resistant or for falling. They were made to be worn on the pilot who was doing calculations for navigation.

They are made to last.

For the duration of the flight...just like the airplane. That doesn't mean they (watches and airplanes) don't need maintenance.

The sapphire glass, which is the norm for modern watches

No it isn't.

ensures that no matter what you do your chronograph remains untacked.

Most historical pilot watches didn't have chronographs.

We’re not fond of constant style changes and dealing with accessories that go with each outfit.

Of course not, you are a badass real man.

Of course, if you are looking at "accessories" and "outfits", you may have too much time on your hand to be daring.

If you were to ask a thousand women what a real man, a man’s man looks like, you’d start to see a few patterns - Vikings, Spartans, pilots. These would be the most common answers.

Most people don't know what Vikings looked like. Most people would think Spartans would look a little...fancy. Pilots don't have a look.

Men that are strong, smart and that possess skills that make women feel safe.

Vikings, known for raiding coastal villages and enslaving people? Spartans, who spend their lives from the age 6-65 exclusively with other men and who relied on slaves for everything but fighting?

It’s also hard to become a pilot, but it isn’t hard to look like one.

Laughable.

Of course, we don’t want to parade around in pilot suits, but adding a simple accessory that a pilot watch is, goes a long way.

Next up: the stethoscope around the neck to make you look like a doctor!

Strapping a pilot watch is the easiest thing you can do to appear manlier in the eyes of the gentler sex.

Buying a watch to impress women is not particularly effective or manly.

The main difference between Swiss and Japanese watch movements is that Swiss ones are more aesthetically designed while Japanese are made with precision and accuracy in mind.

The writer doesn't know anything about being a man, or woman, and doesn't know anything about watches either.

Now that you learned a thing or two about pilot watches and what they say about the person wearing them, check out our Pilot Watch Collection and see which one you’ll choose.

I'll choose this one.

I will be a real man and show myself to be daring!

A watch with a pendulum...I cannot wait to see this.
