I know it has been beaten to death, but I am not comfortable taking a picture of any hypothetical pistol and sending it to the ATF, precisely because the ATF now ruled these to be unregistered short barreled rifles. They simply don't have the manpower or the capability to approve all of these form 1's in any reasonable amount of time.

The whole thing makes me think of the Randy Weaver story. He cut a shotgun barrel too short at the direction of an undercover ATF agent. They ended up killing his son, his wife, his dog, and they shot him in the shoulder.

I'm a reasonable man, but I don't think it's a conspiracy theory to believe that this may be some sort of entrapment operation.
