Pixie cut + square face?

Hair length doesn't necessarily indicate good health.

Yes, it does. Long lustrous female hair is rated attractive by both men and women across cultures. Search the internet, even wikipedia.

Hair texture, thickness, etc do.

These are also indicators of good health. So is symmetry, ideal waist-hip ratio (which can objectively measured - ideal falling from 0.60 to 0.70), youth, fertility, femininty, lack of noticeable deformities, things such as clear, soft and glowing skin (blemish/dryness/acne free), long, strong nails, plump lips, round, fleshy and firm ass, etc etc. All objective indicators of feminine beauty. Which is universal.

Hair length also has no bearing whatsoever on mental health.

I never said it did. But, if I was a betting man, it'd be my belief that it did.

This, however, is 100% irrelevant.

Long hair is also not universally attractive.

It simply is.

As an anthropologist I can say that for a fact considering one of my research focuses is relationships, attractiveness, and courting.

You have provided exactly zero evidence to your wildly inaccurate claims. If what you say is true, then you'd understand that beauty is indeed Objective (outliers don't make the rules), and that my claims based on sound science are true. Unless of course you're one of those politically-correct, spare-as-much-feelz-as-possible researchers who are masters at rationalizing the cold hard truth.

I can be downvoted and disagreed with to all oblivion and back, but no one will ever disprove or try to rationalize Natural Selection and Nature. I was always amused by people — especially women who seem to have a universal knee-jerk distaste for the idea that beauty can be measured and ranked — who believed that culture, or the media, or Hollywood, or parents, or peers, or the magic nose goblin, were somehow responsible for what gives men boners. The religion of cultural conditioning is as cultic as any organized religion. It has many adherents because, like traditional religions, it appeals to false hopes and placates with soothing lies.

No magazine, TV show, movie, or “groupthink” ever influenced the blood flow to my Manhood. Nor does it do so for any other Man. When my balls grew hair, the first time I saw a silky thigh was like a thermonuclear blast of lust that fried my brain. My heart raced when I laid eyes on a pretty girl. Nothing influenced this visceral reaction; it was as hardwired as breathing and shitting.

Here is a study that shows men’s preferences for a female 0.7 waist to hip ratio has a real basis in BIOLOGICAL necessity.

Summary: evolution designed men to prefer sexy hourglass figures because women who have them give birth to smarter babies.

I could easily point out Jennifer Lawrence, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, Emma Watson, or Natalie Portman as counterexamples.

Hahahaha. They all look less attractive with shorter hair. Please provide visuals of said women compared to their long-haired selves and see for yourself. You may be able to rationalize in your brain, but your boner will know which is more attractive.

Short awful hair, old, bad skin, overall little femininty, etc.:

vs.

the exact opposite - sexy:

Once again, please find me any any healthy man (who isn't a weirdo) who prefers the old lady over the young sexy chick for lovemaking.

Speaks for itself v2
