"We plan to do to the meat industry what the car did to the horse and buggy. Cultured meat will completely replace the status quo and make raising animals to eat them simply unthinkable."

That isn't what I said. What is devastating to me is your inability to participate in the conversation that actually took place, and your retreat from the real person I tried to reveal to you. Because this is the kind of bullshit that leads to very real problems in the real world. Refusing to engage me based on what I actually said, then accusing me of doing that very same thing, is probably one of the most childish tactics in existence. But you know... Honestly I don't find it to be all that surprising.

And here's the truth about factory farming. It isn't as hard to avoid as you think. You just have to go out and shoot a deer now and then, maybe help your dad butcher a four year old steer that has lived long past his juicy date. Fish. Shoot a goose. Oh but... You secretly don't approve of any of that, I bet. I bet you're one of those trans-humanists. I bet that whole efficiency argument was a smoke screen, just like I said it was. I bet you just hate yourself, hate humanity, hate the universe for making death a part of life.

And here's another fact about most of the beef on the market. They lived happy lives for a few years, got on a semi-trailer with only the mildest of complaints, and at the very very end, like the last five minutes of their lives, they were scared......and then they died.

That is exactly what will happen to you. And the difference between you and I is not that I am terrible. It is that I have accepted the circle of life. The difference between us and the cow.... Well it depends on what we want to have happen to our remains. Me? I'm going to be cremated. My ashes will be spread in a field. Plants will eat my cremated corpse, those evil fucks, and a cow will probably eat them, and my atoms will become part of them. Maybe it's a dairy cow. Maybe you'll eat me in some cheese.
