I plan on getting my first horse in a few months, and there just so happens to be an empty paddock in my neighborhood. They are potentially interested in leasing it to me, what questions should I ask?

My experience is low but I will have someone with extensive experience with me every step of the way. She has had horses for over 30 years, in self-care until her knee went and her last horse passed and she decided to sell her farm. I'll have her with me for the discussion about potentially leasing the paddock, but I want to have a thorough list of questions ready.I really appreciate your answer, "do they reserve the right to add more horses into the paddock?" especially is one I would have never thought to ask.

From the replies, definitely will go with two horses. I liked that foster idea the one commenter had, I foster kittens already so I already know I am able to give fosters away when the time comes.
