plans: update

The vehemence of a couple women in blasting the practice of holding photos of this woman surprised me. A man would only be flattered to know a woman kept pictures of him. I can appreciate that biologically women always have to watch out for attention from men they aren't interested in: their health, survival or the genes they will be incorporating into their offspting are at stake. It's like Britain's "right to be forgotten." The best defense a woman can have against a man who likes her (and whom she doesn't like), aside from a buff man or a society guarding her, is avoiding the man. If a man stops seeing a woman, he will eventually stop thinking about her and stop hatching plans to get with her. But if he has a way to keep reminding himself of her - a picture - he can keep this spark alive and prolong his thinking about her / hatching plans to get with her.

That in mind, I am considering deleting my pictures of her (and of this other woman I like, an acquaintance of my wife's).
