Plastic surgery, and other procedures to change your appearance for cosmetic reasons shouldn't be stigmatized.

I suppose it's not really, but it's unpopular in the social circles I'm in.

I developed moderate ptosis over time (eyelid droop but not enough to totally obscure vision, just only a little) which is a normal thing, but I still want surgery to fix it. There isn't too much I want to do with my face other than that because it makes me look weird (except for maybe double jaw surgery or something because my jaws aren't aligned and it causes physical pain...). I've kind of just accepted the fact I'm not very good looking. I guess it's ego-centric, but I don't feel like people who aren't born beautiful shouldn't get the chance to be beautiful. I guess it would be more convenient to just modify genetics though. I personally don't think about the other ways because they're often not permanent...

It's a selfish desire overall, but I just want to look the way I want to. We're not all born lucky. I guess it was just a hard fact to accept for me, and any kind of surgery is sort of a fantasy to be able to change how I look.
