I played Spyro and Tomb-raider on my PS1 and Spider-Man is my favorite hero. My whole childhood will return in September.

This is actually a legitimate question. It was the ps1 era so games were still considered to be "kids toys" right? Not until the ps2 era were there mature themes address like the 3d gta games had so adults can enjoy games and the wii wasn't even a thing yet so why would grandparents have a gaming console??? This is my theory. Perhaps the kid wanted a ps1 at the time but could only keep it at his grandparents house cause his parents didn't want him to waste his time playing videogames. And maybe the reason why they was only ever allowed to play the demo was because maybe his parents/grandparents thought that it was the full game. But it definetly does bring up a wtf-esque situation. Not sure why you would get downvoted either.
