PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS 2018 Roadmap

Nobody asked for new weapons or maps? New animations, better car sounds

I didn't say that. In fact I said it's great, but their "roadmap" completely ignores persistent issues.

people expect things FAST, even though that's not how software development works. You can't just throw money at the solution.

The audio mix has been a problem since the game came out. Audio does not take a year to remix. I agree with you when it comes to netcode and many other things, but the audio is inexcusable. I am so tired of turning down the game for the plane ride, then up for normal gameplay, then down for redzone, then up, then down when I get in a car, then up. Over it.

and when you consider that it hasn't even been a year since PUBG's original Early Access release, they've actually done a decent job.

They decided to go gold, so I will hold them to a gold standard. With that being said, they have optimized the game a bit. It's still piss poor for the visuals. The netcode has been improved, but still 3x the delay of the industry standard.

https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/topic/172144-known-issues-updated-02232018/ that is pretty well populated (although I actually don't see the region problem).

It hasn't been updated in over a month. No mention of the awful audio mix...

What do you mean by cars making rainy noises?

You didn't see that in their roadmap? Their super proud to make cars noises correspond to rain. Here's the quote, "In the first half of 2018, we intend to increase the detail of vehicle sounds, which means introducing suspension sounds and more skidding sounds (who gives a shit). We also want to work with surfaces that would reflect different weather conditions and add rain sounds to vehicle surfaces."
