Please advise! screen tearing in I3 on intel graphics!

i used this command -->compton --backend glx --paint-on-overlay --vsync opengl-swc

Window type settings

                and now everytime i run compton the tearing is gone with some nice ass effects. I got this config from a person that pm'd me.
